President of UOKiK has closed preliminary proceedings into discounts used by media brokers in the television advertising market. The Authority’s analysis did not reveal that the entrepreneurs were engaged in competition-restricting practices.

Acting in cooperation with representatives of four state institutions, the President of UOKiK has held talks with the following social media platforms: Meta, Google and TikTok. The roundtable meeting that was also attended by representatives of the advertising industry and the academia, focused on quicker and more effective elimination of illegal advertising. The event was another step towards more efficient management of the social media advertising market.
