What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a format for transmitting frequently updated news headlines (based on XML). Thanks to RSS readers, Internet users download summaries of notes from websites to their computer, available immediately after they are published. RSS is therefore like a newsletter, except that the messages reach the user individually and without the risk of losing privacy when subscribing to the newsletter of each website visited. You can download only the information that interests you - without graphics, ads and spam. You only download the table of contents, and after clicking the link, full information is displayed.

To read RSS messages, you need to install the so-called RSS reader. A reader is a free program that often acts as a "plug-in", e.g. for an e-mail program or browser.
