Consumers and entrepreneurs harmed by market collusion or abuse of a dominant position may apply for compensation. In a recent judgement concerning Google, the aggregate amount of compensations exceeded half a billion euros.

Nearly PLN 340 million in fines have been imposed on eight companies and two individuals for collusion in the sale of agricultural machinery. The entrepreneurs divided the market and set prices. This is not allowed.

For more than 11 years, farmers were unable to purchase Claas agricultural machinery and spare parts at competitive prices or from a dealer of their own choosing. This resulted from a restrictive agreement.

The President of UOKiK has opened two antitrust proceedings concerning the sale of agricultural machinery. The first involves brands as follows: New Holland, Case and Steyr, the other - the Claas brand. A total of 15 business entities and 2 managers were charged of market sharing and price fixing.
