UOKiK at the ICN – competition law workshops
  • UOKiK, as part of the International Competition Network, is co-organizing Advocacy Workshops in Armenia.
  • The Office participates in activities that support the development of common competition policy principles within the global antitrust community.
  • The work in the ICN is partially open to competition law practitioners. We encourage Polish experts to join the working groups.

The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK), as one of the co-chairs of the ICN Advocacy Working Group, will co-organise the 2026 ICN Advocacy Workshop, which will take place on 16–17 March 2026 in Yerevan. The event will be hosted by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission of the Republic of Armenia.

We are excited to bring the ICN community together for an inspiring and productive workshop focused on various aspects of competition advocacy. The topics planned for discussion include, among others:

  • importance of competition advocacy in today’s fast-changing global economy,
  • fostering a culture of pro-competition policy across public sector agencies,
  • competition advocacy to leverage new and emerging market trends while keeping markets competitive,
  • strengthening SME capacities of competition principles and raising awareness of competition policy best practices.

Detailed information about the workshop and the agenda are available: https://icnawg2026.am/

Furthermore, on 15–17 April in Prague will take place the ICN Unilateral Conduct Working Group Workshop – detailed information: https://icnunilateral2026.uohs.cz/

In May, the annual ICN conference will be held in the Philippines, and this time it will be a special one, as now it is the year of the network's 25th anniversary.

On this occasion, we would also like to remind you that the work carried out within the ICN is also partially open to competition law practitioners. We encourage experts practicing in this field to get involved in the work of the ICN working groups.
