UOKiK, as part of the International Competition Network, is co-organizing Advocacy Workshops in Armenia. The Office participates in activities that support the development of common competition policy principles within the global antitrust community.
The UOKiK expert mission to Yerevan marked the second event delivered within this year’s assistance project for Armenia. The training sessions focused on the latest EU regulations and current market challenges.
The new project was launched with a study visit of Armenian experts to Poland from 14-23 September. Representatives of the Armenian Competition and Consumer Protection Commission visited the headquarters and regional offices of UOKiK as well as the Provincial Inspectorates of Trade Inspection (WIIH).
On October 19-20, 2023, a study visit of 4 representatives from the Ministry of Economy of Armenia took place at UOKiK. It was organized in cooperation with the Directorate General for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR) within the framework of the EU Taiex project. Its subject was the exchange of EU best practices in the field of consumer rights protection.
