The absence of any price information, price lists, pre-discount prices, or prices per litre or kilogram – these were the most common findings of the Trade Inspection Authority in stores. Inspectors checked over 460,000 products and 3,000 businesses. Every other establishment provided incorrect price information.

Outfit, hairdresser, make-up, party, trip – read service providers’ offers, check the terms and conditions, clearly communicate your expectations. If a service is not in line with the offer, you have the right to make a complaint. 

We have audited 10 models of solid fuel boilers of maximum 500 kW capacity and in 4 instances we have found some irregularities.

We inspected 84 parking lots and 125 car washes – a total of 209 businesses. Nearly 23% of them do not properly inform consumers about the prices of their services.

Last year, the Trade Inspection Authority questioned 2.59% of the liquid fuel samples subjected to inspection – almost twice as many as in 2022.

Together with the National Revenue Administration and the Trade Inspection Authority, we inspected 36 heat pump models.
