The campaign of the President of UOKiK “Check whether you can afford it” is now on. Beware! Purchases with deferred payment can lead to excessive debt and affect your credit score. More than 250 entities such as public and commercial media, institutions, organisations, business entities, influencers have already joined the campaign.

- I wholeheartedly thank our partners to the campaign titled “Check whether you can afford it” for free broadcasting of the spot on TV, radio, Internet and social media, for programmes and publications about deferred payments and related risks. New year sales, promotional campaigns and discounts - tempting advertisements and commercials are not slowing down. This is why let us remind you: “Buy Now Pay Later” is a loan! It can lead to excessive debt and affect consumers’ credit score. This issue has been hot all along and for this reason I am encouraging you equally fervent to take up further joint actions! - appeals the President of UOKiK, Tomasz Chróstny.
