The next edition of UOKiK Summer Camp is starting – workshops recognised in the 2024 Competition Advocacy Contest for their modern and engaging format. This is a unique opportunity for students of law, economics, and related fields to gain valuable experience in one of Poland’s key government offices.
Today prizes in the competition of the President of UOKiK for the best master and doctoral theses were given. Congratulations to the winners from the University of Warsaw, the University of Łódź and the University of Rzeszów.
The second edition of the summer workshop for students on competition law, UOKiK Summer Camp ‘24, is now open. For 5 days, students will be involved in getting to know some behind-the-scenes details of the work performed by analysts and experts, they will be analyzing the most gripping case studies and will be participating in meetings with special guests.
The UOKIK’s competition law student workshops were distinguished in the International Competition Network (ICN) and the World Bank Group competition.
Competition for the best master's thesis resolved. The winning papers were written at the Faculties of Law and Administration at the University of Lodz, Jagiellonian University and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.
On 18 September 2023, we saw the inauguration of the first edition of Summer Camp, that is, a workshop that will introduce students to the work of UOKIK experts. During five days, young people will learn practical examples of antitrust cases. Participation in the program is a prize for authors of the best essays submitted for a competitive topic: "Why and how to protect competition in the modern economy?".
