The President of UOKiK, Tomasz Chróstny, has initiated an investigation into the practices of Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne. Doubts have arisen regarding the implementation of the mechanism for redispatching renewable energy generation units and energy storage facilities.
In 2025, the President of UOKiK issued 900 decisions in the field of competition and consumer protection. He imposed PLN 1.15 billion in fines.
